Before using the platform:
✔ Download the My Virtual Carer app
✔ Create your account
✔ Verify your email or phone number
✔ Log in securely
You are now ready to create or join a care profile.

After logging in:
Complete your profile details
Upload a profile photo (optional)
Enable notifications (recommended)
Review privacy settings
Notifications are important for medication reminders, updates and shared care changes.

Parents
Parents typically:
Create and manage the care profile
Oversee medical and daily care records
Invite co-caregivers and carers
Maintain full visibility of all activity
Parents have full administrative control unless delegated.
Primary Caregivers
The Primary Caregiver:
Owns the care profile
Controls access permissions
Creates and edits care plans
Manages medication schedules
Oversees daily logs
There is always one designated Primary Caregiver per care profile.
Family Members
Family members may be added as:
Co-Caregivers (full shared access)
View-only or partial-access members
Family members can:
View care updates
Contribute notes (if permitted)
Monitor wellbeing
Stay informed in real time
Access level depends on what the Primary Caregiver assigns.
5. Creating a Care Profile
To create a care profile:
Select “Add Care Recipient”
Enter personal details
Add relevant health or support information
Save the profile
You can update details at any time via Edit Profile.
6. Using the Dashboard
The Dashboard provides a live overview of:

Scheduled medication
Tasks due
Recent logs
Alerts or reminders
This is your central coordination hub.

Select Share Care
Choose access level
Enter their registered account details
